Showing God’s Love by Helping Families from Conception to Eternity.
At ARC, life means more than detecting a heartbeat. It means more than having the ability to breathe. To us, life is a gift made by our Maker, the one and only God and Creator of heaven and earth, and that gift is not without purpose. That is the message we want to share with those who walk through ARC’s doors.
Our earthly lives can often seem more troubling than promising. However, when we see challenges and disappointments, God can see opportunities and triumphs. Using God’s Word, the Bible, as our guide, we wish to show our clients that wherever they are in life — whether they are carrying a life, struggling through life, or nearing the end of their life — that their life is still a blessing. It is an opportunity to learn about the God who made them, the Savior who rescued them from the power of sin, and how He can use them to do His wonderful work.
In showing God’s love we strive to do what He commands of us: to be quick to listen and slow to speak, to be respectful, and to provide a helping hand both physically and spiritually. But as we listen, we also encourage our clients to take the path that honors and protects all life — just as God cares for all life, both in and outside the womb.
God creates life
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well” (Psalm 139:13-14).
God protects life
“‘Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor’s life. I am the Lord’” (Leviticus 19:16b).
God cares for young lives
“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these’” (Matthew 19:14).
God cares for older lives
“‘Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord’” (Leviticus 19:32).
“Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity” (1 Timothy 5:1-2).
The free services and information ARC offers and plans to offer down the road are there to support clients in choosing the gift of life that is in them and surrounds them. No matter your age, socioeconomic status, and/or other circumstances, we are here to help. And most importantly, God is here to help.
ARC is in fellowship with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. To read the Synod’s statement of faith, visit the WELS website.
